In 2012, Newlight proudly began selling Airflex™, the world’s first commercially available carbon negative™ bioplastic material, made from air and greenhouse gas. Newlight is successfully operating the world’s first large scale, revenue generating production facility able to pro duce commodity grade bioplastics from air and greenhouse gas. Newlight’s customers are currently using Airflex™ bioplastic resins to produce furniture, containers, bags, clips, caps, and other materials.
